DNS queries

The graph shows the number of responses to queries per second to the .dk zone in the DNS (Domain Name System) shown per minute. You can use the time range buttons above the graph ( 6h, 12h, 1d, 1w, or all ) and the scrollbar below the graph to zoom in on an interval.

DK Hostmaster manages the .dk zone in the DNS. This means that when you visit a website with a .dk domain name, your computer asks DK Hostmaster’s name servers for the address of the site. Our name servers then point at the name server hosting the site and your computer can now show you the website.

Name servers respond to queries for e.g. where a website is located. The graph displays the number of responses to these queries.
